Sometimes in life, you hear a lot of NOs. Take those no(s) and create more solid opportunities for yourself but build your own door(s) to walk through.
I have done this repeatedly in my life when others have underestimated me for whatever reason. Reasons only they know what their explicit biases are. The key for you is to keep building new doors of opportunity and live it open for others.
