In 2004, four crucial hurricanes ripped through southwest Florida. Charley was the first one. Reports say it was the strongest hurricane ever to strike the United States, at that time. At its peak intensity, it attained 150 mph. It ripped through several places, causing devastating results. There, my family and I were amidst this massive and dangerous storm.
