You find us today between two church festivals. On Wednesday 22nd July, the church commemorated Mary Magdalene; on Saturday 25th, it will commemorate the apostle James. These two people were central to Jesus' ministry: James was one of the 12 disciples and Mary the first witness to Jesus' resurrection.
