Let's slow down and become aware of the ways in which we distract ourselves from discomfort at every turn.  Whether it's with alcohol or other substances or with an activity like scrolling social media, so often we have a tendency to numb, and self medicate our negative emotions and sensations. Don't worry! It's normal because it's what we were taught. But you can rip that program out and reinstall a new one. Release what does not serve you.
