I love to study
The human body
Which is why I majored in kinesiology
But those five years are behind me
As are five in my twenties
And though I know that I'm young
I must learn to fight like Ares
Cuz time is more deadly than any gun
The facade of youth
Can lull you into complacency
A paradigm defined and used
As "wait and see"
As if life brings
Anything but suffering
It doesn't
Cuz that's what life is
So we strive - not in spite of
But because of it
THAT is life, well lived
