Originally from Syracuse, New York. Thomas earned a Bachelors degree in English from LeMoyne College, a Masters degree in theology from St Mary’s Seminary and University, a Masters degree in Counseling from Loyola University in Maryland, and is ABD in his PhD in Counseling from Loyola University in Maryland. Thomas has worked in a number of mental health settings including an outpatient drug and alcohol center, an outpatient mental health center, and three hospices. Thomas was an adjunct faculty member at Loyola University in Maryland for three years teaching “Counseling Theory and Practice” in the Masters degree program. He is licensed by the State of Florida as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. He has over 20 years of clinical experience. He has been in private practice in St Petersburg, Florida for over 10 years.
