“World Mental Health Day (10 October) is a day for global mental health education, awareness and advocacy against social stigma. It was first celebrated in 1992 at the initiative of the World Federation for Mental Health, a global mental health organization with members and contacts in more than 150 countries.”

I am showing you SMILING happy faces today. This smile you see today was something I NEVER thought I would see again when I was in a deep dark depression 25 years ago. Family, friends, and a strong support group loved me back to health but it took a LOT of work and trust in others.

On this WORLD MENTAL HEALTH DAY I encourage you to help someone else. That is the secret to success in life and in business. If you are suffering, please ask for help. I did and my life today is ‘beyond my wildest dreams’ and it has absolutely nothing to do with material success. It’s love. Good ole’ fashioned love.

Thank you my beautiful friend Lissette Campos -Tampa Bay and AM Tampa Bay for shining a light on mental health today...let’s keep encouraging others that asking for help is a sign of STRENGTH not weakness. If you go to therapy, a psychiatrist, a psychologist, life coach, 12 step recovery group, practice meditation, spend time connecting to spirit and beyond that ACTUALLY MEANS YOU’RE HEALTHY AND MENTALLY STRONG! No. More. Shame.
