Today’s episode features the founders of Busboy, Rebecca Kligerman and Angel Xu. It wasn’t enough that both these women grew up in New Jersey, both came to the city to study at NYU, but it was their ex-boyfriends that brought them together. Their career paths have led them to work in the fashion, media and hospitality industries, their friendship and passions have grown since then. Now almost 8 years later, Busboy was born to create a space for humanizing restaurant workers, providing them a platform and voice.
