Today’s guest is my friend Alyssa. Alyssa was born in Massachusetts, as an introvert child her parents sent her to boarding school in hopes that she would blossom into a social butterfly. As she grew older this only made it clearer for Alyssa that she needed to move somewhere where she could really explore her independence. A week after college graduation, Alyssa moved to NYC to pursue her interest in fashion. Alyssa and I talk about her past jobs in buying, finding an apartment on Craigslist (it's not all bad), and learning to put herself before others.
