There's a lot of talk about self-care these days, but while drinking water, exercising, and taking time for yourself is great, it only goes so far. The ultimate self care is to find and live your purpose, because when you are living your purpose, you don't have to strive, compare or compete with anyone. You aren't trying to find the next thing, job or person that will make you feel complete. You're no longer filling the holes in your heart with drugs, alcohol, shopping, porn, or whatever else distracts you from that vague sense of emptiness you feel when you slow down long enough to feel it. When you're living your purpose, you know who you really are, and you feel a sense of contentment that you cannot get any other way.
