Beware of Cyber frauds wherein fraudsters send fake QR codes and cheat people of their money.
The Cyberabad police have said that the Cyber Crime Police Station, Cyberabad was receiving complaints from victims wherein they are losing their money after scanning the QR codes sent by the fraudsters. The Cyber fraudsters who have been identified as hailing from Rajasthan are posting fake advertisements on Olx website, FaceBook and Quikr and other websites on the pretext of selling or purchasing used goods and then cheating those who fall prey.
