As we aim to make disciples like Jesus did, we must always keep in mind that a "good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit" (Matt. 7:17). No matter how big, strong, and healthy a tree looks like, ultimately bad trees can and will only bear bad fruits! In the same way, no matter how spiritually strong, healthy, and righteous a discipler appears to be, sooner or later any sin that he/she is harboring or living in will be exposed - whether in word or deed, or by the fruits that are produced!
This Sunday, let us learn from Rev. Eugene Hao as he preaches about the significance of "Authentic Discipleship", and the immense impact and consequences of the true righteousness and testimony of a discipler towards making authentically spiritual, genuinely committed disciples of Christ!
