In this Episode I share my 10 Things Top Producers Do That You Don't.   First lets talk about what qualifies an agent as a top producer.  Each company and assocation will have different levels for reaching a top producer status.  A Top producer could be someone that sells 60 homes at $50k each, or 3 homes at $5 million.  An agent that sells $5 million in volume has an income near $100k depending on company splits.  You might sell 24 transactions in a year and only make $50k.  You would be considered a top producer in my eyes.  So what do top Producers DO That You Don't!

  1. They will out work you and do what you won't do!  Question? are you single with a regular job?  In my head, you should be able to out work everyone.
  2. Not afraid to ask for the business
  3. Willing to talk to strangers
  4. They block time to lead generate daily. They don’t just focus on current transactions
  5. Are you full time? Do you work more than 65 hours a week? Then you should be closing 40+ transactions a week
  6. Top producers have some leverage because they’ve lived in their areas forever
  7. They focus on listings
  8. They come from contribution
  9. They follow up
  10. They focus on building relationships first
