- Every agent, must continue to lead generate. These last few years were much easier for agents that have a database. Listing a home, going under contract and closing was a piece of cake. Any home that went on the market, SOLD. Well most of them. You didn’t have to do as much to prove your value. Make sure you are mailing to your neighborhood, mailing to your network “sphere of influence” and using video and social media. You must become the agent that is seen everywhere! Although if you’ve been doing this you are a head of the curve!
- Use a CRM and follow up! You have to keep asking for the business
- Get involved - Start showing up at your community events, community meetings, village or city meetings. Get to know those that are in office and be the resource for real estate. If you are not involved in your local association, that’s my challenge for you! I would go as far as saying get involved in Women’s Council! It’s easy to say, “I am too busy” that was me. Feeling overwhelmed, but I had to make a choice to get involved. Oh, and checking email. Check your emails from your association. We just had an event on a rooftop at a minor league park and I had agents say they hate they didn’t know. Guess what! It’s your fault. Check your email and sign up when you see the email, don’t wait
