Socially Distanced is back on the gridiron for the final NFC East Group Therapy Session of the 2024-2025 season.
Bill Bodkin, Pop Break's Editor-in-Chief, is in the hosting seat and is joined by "The Human Star Wars Encyclopedia" Amanda Rivas (co-host of Anime X Pop), Al Mannarino (Pop Break's reluctant managing editor and co-founder of Socially Distanced), "The Commander of our Hearts" Ben Murchison (along with TK42Woof) and "The Voice of God" Marshall Stevenson (co-host of Blerd Watchers).
In the episode the do a post-mortem on the 2024 of the Philadelphia Eagles, Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants and Washington Commanders. They discuss how the Eagles and Chiefs can win the big game this weekend and give some predictions for 2025 -- like will Aaron Rodgers be a starting QB in the NFl at the beginning of the season.
They also talk the pop culture of the Big Game including Kendrick Lamar's halftime show, trailers they're excited to see and the ones they hope to see, and of course, the over/under on Taylor Swift appearances.
There's two pre-game segments this episode. The first revolves around the announcement that Hulu is rebooting Buffy the Vampire Slayer with Sarah Michelle Gellar returning and Chole Zhao directing. They also discuss the teaser trailer release for Fantastic Four: First Steps.
