We discuss the recently released Netflix movie Tigertail and how major themes of this Taiwanese immigrant story relate to our own experiences and those of our parents. Tigertail was written and directed by Alan Yang (writer on Master of None, Parks and Rec) and is loosely based on his father’s story of sacrifice in order to pursue the American Dream.
