As people who struggled hard to successfully pay off our own student loan debt, we aren't thrilled with Biden's new student loan forgiveness plan, but not just for the reasons you might think.
We are in fact happy for the one-time beneficiaries of this program because we know how hard the road to repayment can be, but there's a lot we're not so pleased with. Namely, the lack of attempt to fix the core problem behind the broken higher education system extorting young people for everything they're worth.
