It’s January, you know what that means! New Japan is scheduled to hold Wrestle Kingdom 15 on January 4th and 5th respectively, with the two nights incapsulating the biggest event on the calendar for New Japan Pro Wrestling! Headlined by two Double Championship Matches, with Tetsuya Naito defending the IWGP Heavyweight and IWGP Intercontinental Championships against Kota Ibushi on Night One, and the winner of that facing Jay White on Night Two, once again, the main event scene of Wrestle Kingdom will decide another (potentially two) Double Champion! Elsewhere, Taiji Ishimori will be defending the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship against either Hiromu Takahashi (winner of the Best of the Super Juniors 27) or El Phantasmo (winner of the 2020 Super J Cup), Shingo Takagi defends his NEVER Openweight Championship against Jeff Cobb, Okada and Tanahashi wrestle in special singles matches against members of The Empire, in the form of Will Ospreay and The Great O-Khan respectively, and the return of the New Japan Ranbo, this time deciding the fate of the KOPW 2021!
