Here are some thoughts and themes that could be why you might not be asking for help or getting the help you need
"If I don't do it all, everything will fall apart": Women often take on too much out of fear that they won't be able to maintain control or appear competent.
"I have to be perfect in everything I do": Women often hold themselves to impossibly high standards that are difficult to meet, leading to feelings of inadequacy and burnout.
"I'm not worthy of rest and relaxation": Women often feel guilty taking time for themselves because they feel they should always be productive and achieve something.
As I talk about today it’s not unusual to be a helper and not being helped.
