When someone asks the question, What's love got to do with it? We should be able to stand and say, God is love and God has a lot to do with it. 1 John 4:8 But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love.
Love is not merely an attribute of God, it is his very nature. God is not only loving, he is fundamentally love. God alone loves in the completeness and perfection of love. So what does love got to do with it? Everything! God is love!
