We dive into artistic world of Samara Bakrs of Mixed Hues. Samara's illustrations and fine art styles are a mix of exaggerated realism with a graffiti feel. Through her art she creates work featuring people of color, specifically Black people, in spaces where they aren't likely to be seen or represented. She goes into her life in roller derby and how she's changing the narrative of the sport. She has become a powerhouse in the community with her beautiful pieces of work. Representation is Samara's main goal and we see her achieving it.
