Pardon us, but why should a President have the power to pardon someone, an act more fit for a king? And we speculate what might happen if Scott used the French term for "excuse me", "Pardon", to someone while walking down a Paris street, and that person happened to have a criminal record. Would French law automatically pardon that person, and would that lead to Scott and Tom being named co-Prime Ministers of France?
