Dr. Niigaan James Sinclair is Anishinaabe, originally from St. Peter’s Indian Settlement near Selkirk, Manitoba. Currently residing in Winnipeg, he is an Associate Professor at the University of Manitoba, a columnist at the Winnipeg Free Press, and author of numerous articles, columns and short stories.
