I started off speaking about some things that I see often, and what I see now on the internet. Adults speak up about how they were raised in an adopted family. Every situation is different and I do realize there are souls on the planet that can love without seeing color and without boundaries and make the child feel loved. I spoke on Not really liking stepdads because of childhood trauma. Just giving a small point of view on my black culture and noticing we have work to do. I then spoke on black men being one of the top candidates for step-fatherhood. My mother brought me up with the ability to love, I would say it's more of my spirit but yeah. Understanding that babies deserve love even if it's from the family that didn't make the Has anyone seen that new Disney commercial of the black stepdad, no kids of his own but moves in with a non-black woman?
