Thequote from T.S.Eliot, shared in an OA episode: "We
shall not cease from exploration, And the end of all our exploring, Will be to arrive where we started, And know the place for the first time" It emphasises that history seems to repeat itself, but with each time the loop enlarges a bit with the added experience of the last. We (individually as well as collectively) grow a little and then come
back to the same place, or behaviour or pattern with that little bit
extra, which makes us experience the same situations differently. The age old saying of 'we learn from our mistakes' is not coincidental.
