"You look lonely, I can fix that" we've all seen this scene. But the importance of it, the removal of the bandage symbolises the protective walls coming down, the revealing of the scars and the pain. Joe has lost Joi, he is not human because the memories were not his and so, he finally knows loss. And in this feeling, Joe becomes more than what he was made for.
