From there, we look to Jesus’ example in John 13:14–15, where He washed His disciples’ feet, and Matthew 23:11–12, which teaches that true greatness comes through humility. These scriptures challenge us to obey God’s voice and to serve others without pride, knowing that God exalts those who lower themselves.
