Pola (@russiancoffee) and Carole (@ofmillenial) are reunited with the peerless Lisette (@lisette.xavier) for a discussion on privilege-- what privilege looks like, how we all occupy different areas of privilege, and how that should unit us more than divide. We recorded this episode just before the tragic passing of George Floyd and Breonna Taylor, two black lives prematurely ended owing to police brutality and, on the grander scheme of things, a deeply prejudiced system. We recorded this episode with the intention of inspiring our fans to have these uncomfortable conversations on their own. These conversations have always been difficult but hopefully, for the first time, the privileged are willing to listen and the underprivileged will finally be heard. No more excuses. Learn into the discomfort. Do the work.
