:60 Lynne Patton

During the term of Michael Cohen’s a.k.a. President Donald Trump’s former fixer, there was a lot of viral moments from this six-hour long congressional hearing. But there was one moment that has really taken on a life of its own, and that’s the moment when 46 year old Lynne Patton allowed herself to be used as a prop for Republican representative of North Carolina Michael Meadows. According to Ms. Patton, she said that Donald Trump is not a racist because being from Alabama she’ll never work for a racist. There is so much to unpack with this, but with so little time. So here’s my question for you...

:90 Will You Knowingly Work For A Racist?

I think believe there are millions of people whether knowingly or unknowingly work for a racist. Racism is not just about if you are black or white. But it's about a deep culture of suppression in the workplace, churches and many places of business. Jerry Jones  of the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys have made some racially insensitive and overt comments which can deem him to be a racist. Of course no racist will openly say, “hey I’m a racist” Unless they are dawning the old white sheets with holes in them or marching down the street with tiki torches. Either way, for as much as the NFL players know about Jerry Jones, 80% or more of the players who are black still play football for him. Does it matter if your boss is racist and you are able to feed your family and take care of your bills, or should the boss be held to a higher standard. Or would you yourself with your 100k or better job find out that your boss is racist, would you leave immediately. Or would you stay their and work for him or her because in the end it's kind of the status quo because you have kids and bills to pay? Sound off in the comments below.

:30 Donald Trump Said What?

:30 Take Em To Church: Lynne Patton may have gotten her fifteen seconds of fame, or maybe she had buyers remorse for even being there while being used as a prop to defend Donald J. Trump. Either way she did not say a word while in the chambers of congress during the hearing and she left out quickly. Many of us have and are now working for someone which we may not like many of the personal views of that boss. We may not like their religion, their sexuality and oh… yeah their racism. But as long as your boss whomever that maybe is not suppressing your growth as an employee through wage stagnation and promotion. Then go ahead work for that racist bigot and make millions of dollars in the process, use those finances build your business then leave that motherfer.
