Marvell L. Terry II is a public health analyst, bridge builder and community organizer. Raised in Memphis, Tennessee and now residing in metro Washington, DC – Marvell’s work has centered around challenging the structure of health care systems with the founding of his own non-profit, The Red Door Foundation. Marvell is also the founder of the annual conference for the Black LGBTQ community living in the South called Saving Ourselves Symposium (SOS). Marvell has created the Netherwood Consulting Group to sustain and strengthen community organizations that will result in meaning and value.
