Today, we see the beginnings of trouble and sorrow brewing for David in his own family, as a result of his sin with Bathsheba. We learn of a few tragic events David had to live through, including the death of two of his sons, in addition to the one son lost in chapter 12. And we learn valuable lessons from David's life along his journey.
