Welcome back to our SIS students, families, staff and community members! In episode 3 of the Anchor SIS Podcast we have messages from Board of Education President Ms. Jacqueline Robinson, SIS PTO Board Members, Librarian Ms. Antonucci, Guidance Counselor Ms. Buccio and a student performance from Cellist Charlotte Arnzen playing a piece from Bach. As we end the third quarter having been home on remote instruction for nearly one month we find out that Governor Cuomo has announced the continued closure of NYS Schools until at least April 29th. Moving forward it seems that Governor Cuomo will rely on science and data to make updates in two week increments. While we don't know exactly when we will be returning, we can expect updates in two week increments and so our message to each student is to take care of yourself, establish a routine to the best of your ability and please know that we at SIS are here for you.
