This week, The Football Misfits Podcast celebrates ONE YEAR of existence! We're very proud of this accomplishment and couldn't have made it this far without the support of weekly listeners and users who interact with us on Instagram (@footymisfits)! As for Episode 55, LV has made a triumphant return to the podcast as he, along with Ronny and Spencer, runs through the matches across the European leagues (as well as Tottenham's result against Paços de Ferreira). The three highlight some of the teams who had stellar starts to their domestic campaigns only for them to be brought back down to earth in their following matches; be it Barcelona, Manchester United, or Borussia Dortmund. In Italy, Cristiano Ronaldo's future at Juventus is, allegedly, up in the air with his Instagram post over the week fueling the transfer-rumor flames as the Bianconeri dropped points in their opener against Udinese. A huge scuffle between Olympique Marseille players and Nice supporters stole the headlines in France. The good brothers discuss the UEFA Player of the Year award, which will be awarded this week, before hitting the runway for BS of the Week.
