Meet Peacock Sabonger, an award-class architect living on the island of Roatán in the Caribbean off the cost of Honduras. Peacock centers our conversation on his journey to become an architect, against the dreams of his family and those around him. He did not have the grades nor the skills (yet), but his desire alone proved to be powerful. Peacock grew up in Honduras, swimming in pools filled with coffee and amongst those who believed in witchcraft and magic. This childhood experience later taught him the values of spiritual awareness, nature-inspired creativity, and stoicism. Peacock is now on the journey of creating his own architectural firm with his good friend. Besides all this, through our conversation, I have realized Peacock is a vulnerable and authentic individual who wants to give more to this world than he takes. He has a very kind soul who shares his deepest struggles and personal stories as a lesson to be learned towards victory. His mindset and perspective on life is calm and positive, which I know will rub off on those who listen to this week's episode!
