Jake Wightman is our fourth guest on Game On: The Podcast. Jake is a British middle-distance runner who has represented both Great Britain and Scotland at huge sporting events such as the World Championships, Commonwealth Games and European Championships.
In 2018 Jake was the 1500m Commonwealth bronze medalist, representing Scotland, and then went on to take home the bronze for Great Britain at the European Championships in Berlin later that year.
In June 2018 at the Diamond League event in Stockholm Jake set the Scottish record for 1000m. His time of 2:16.27 broke the previous record which had stood since 1984.
Jake is an inspiration to all aspiring athletes, and we're thrilled to have him on the podcast.
