Welcome back to Passion for the Pastime! This week we had a lot of emotion in the game of baseball. Started by the Tyler Skaggs memorial. Angels wore 45 to honor their late friend/ teammate and pitched a no hitter in his honor. Players and fans alike let emotion take over and it was such a beautiful moment that end with a team of #45 jerseys left on the mound. Its moments like this that we realize that the players are human too, and its bigger than just a game. Moments like this is the reason we watch sports, because we experience such a range of emotions. Earlier that week, tempers flared between the Astros and Angels as a simple play at the plate divides baseball fans.
