Welcome Back to another episode of Passion for the Pastime: A Baseball Podcast. This off season has defiantly had a different "buzz" to it, compared to recent years. Not only were the Astros found cheating with cameras but there have been other reports of buzzers used under players uniforms. When will this nightmare end? Of course those claims have been denied, but if someone confronted you of cheating, would you admit it? Looks like MLB will need to issue another immunity play to finally get the truth. But enough about how the game has lost our trust, lets now remember why we watched the game to begin with, and for many it was the face of baseball for that past two decades, the Captain has finally made his way to Cooperstown. Not unanimously like he should have been, but don't worry, our pitchforks are ready, but nonetheless, Derek Jeter made it on his first year on the ballot. Others not so fortunate, as Former Colorado Rockies Outfield, Larry Walker, who entered his 10th and final year will join Jeter on his trip to Cooperstown. Speaking of Rockies, boy do they love the attention this off season. After floating around Arenado's name all off season, it appears Nolan will be their starting 3rd baseman in 2020 and someone isn't happy with that. All this and more. Enjoy!
