Welcome back to another episode of Passion for the Pastime: A Baseball podcast. Spring is upon us and we had one final Fan Fest for the San Francisco Giants before they start their journey in Arizona for 2020 Spring Training, among with everyone else who will be joining them for Spring Training as all teams will be reporting to camp this week. Fan Fest was incredible and I am excited to see this new era of Giants baseball. Mookie Betts and David Price, will now be a part of the story, not as an allies, but as an enemies. Mookie and Price finally found out where they will be reporting to Spring Training, and it will be in Arizona, wearing Dodger Blue, as the on again off again mega deal finally went down. Verdugo along with other prospects are heading to the Red Sox, and Kenta Maeda will be heading to the Twins, with Graterol finally ending up in Los Angeles. And you cant talk about the Dodgers now without mentioning the sign stealing scandal, and ex-manager AJ Hinch was on full display in an exclusive interview that aired on MLB network this past Friday, February 7th.
