The 2019 Postseason has kicked off with a BANG! Starting with the Bryce Harper less Washington Nationals and the Brewers. When their backs were against the wall with 4 out remaining, young Juan Soto stepped up big time for his team and capped off a 3 run 8th inning, that would land them a date with the LA Dodgers. But it doesnt end there, the battle of the Bays took place, with Oakland taking on the Tampa Bay Rays. But what happened next could not have been foreseen as the team that hit 4 homeruns, isnt who you thought it would be. Now that the postseason is off to a hot start, lets not stop the momentum. Looking at the LDS, tons of great matchups across the board. We have a slubber knocker with the Yankees and Twins as the top two homerun hitting teams square off. We have a band of misfits in the Rays taking on the big bad meanie in the Astros. We have the rotations of the Nationals trying to prove a point against the Dodgers Murders Row 2.0, and finally, a team that doesnt thrive on homeruns and are a throw back to old school baseball, where pitching, defense and small ball is everything in the Cardinals. But standing in their way is a young and hungry Ronald Acuna led Braves squad that have unfinished buisness. I preview each matchup and give my predictions. I dont know the outcome but what I do know, is that we are in store of some great October Baseball.
