Description

NEW Leadership Nevada 2020 completed in early June and our student leaders were tasked to work on adding to the Viva Las Visionaries narrative. Eloisa Burton, an  undergraduate student in the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and  Mathematics) from University Nevada Reno shares how physical activity like rugby helped release stress and how the pandemic required a re-framing of how stress could be handled in isolation. Eloisa is a Computer Science and Engineering major with a minor in Astronomy.

Fun fact: She is president of the Women into Computer Science and Engineering, a club that fosters a community for women in computer science on campus.

Stay tuned in the coming weeks for this year's cohort of episodes that really celebrate their different ways of growing and themes that  stood out in our summer conference curriculum.
