After being diagnosed with cancer and suffering from subsequent depression, Dave Proctor discovered the true meaning of the phrase "laughter is the best medicine", as he turned to writing comedy as a means of coping. Today, not only has he lived to tell the tale, but he continues to write plays and novels which are being published on a frequent basis.
