Description

After a 15-year hiatus where she focused on writing poetry and starting a family, S.J. Henschel once again put her experience studying at the legendary Dramatic Workshop in NYC to use, when she returned to her artistic roots by becoming a major figure in the blossoming theatre scene in upstate New York. Throughout her career, she has written her own plays and musicals, performed in and directed countless productions, started her own reader's theatre company...and she also happens to be the grandmother of Indie Art Today host Anthony J. Piccione!

For our Season One finale, they spoke about her experience studying under Maria Piscator at the Dramatic Workshop, directing the touring production of the Holocaust-era drama Survivors, her play Between Silences & her musical Gotta Dance, and more!
