This July, the Talking It Out virtual play festival will present its third and final performance of its inaugural season. With it comes another set of five short plays that tackle a wide range of mental health conditions, and how it impacts both the afflicted individuals and their loved ones.
For this week's episode, Anthony spoke with four of the five participating playwrights - Steven Hayet, Bridgette Dutta Portman, Huss Rasit & Randy Gross - about how their personal perspectives inspired their work, what they hope audiences will take away from it, what more can be done in the arts to promote mental health awareness, and more!
