Having been disillusioned by the industry in Los Angeles, Jim Miller - better known by his stage/screen name J.J. Miller - left acting to pursue a successful career as a producer, through his work with Brave New Films beginning in 2005. Yet after the COVID pandemic hit, he decided to return to his first love, when he began appearing in various plays in NYC as an actor.
