Description

Engineers typically get a bad wrap for being introverted and siloed by their technical skills. Deb Ryan, P.E., is a reservoir engineer by trade, but defies this norm daily and is one of the most friendly, outgoing engineers you will meet. Which has only benefited her throughout her career. By diversifying her skill set, she has made herself more marketable in the energy industry.

In this episode, Deb talks about when she first realized she needed to diversify (13:11), the value of understanding other roles in the energy industry (24:20) and the need to have strong skills (32:47).
