(chapter 7) Lady Jessica (The Duke's OSUP) is unpacking some shit in their new home on Arrakis after their big trip through space. Because that's what Dune likes to focus on right now: the stuff that happens either before or after the exciting stuff. NOT COMPLAINING! She talks to the Duke and then meets her first Fremen, The Shadout Mapes. Caitlin doesn't think we were very funny this episode. Perhaps we weren't or perhaps she just was too into the metaphysical stuff and got serious. That's okay too in my book!
