The value of prayer is often overlooked or rejected because people have not received everything they asked for immediately. Faith is being sure that what we hope for will be accomplish in God's all-wise and best time. I think Satan has used this powerful tool of God to distract people from trusting in God. And sometimes people have just chosen not to walk in faith because they just didn't want to believe in Him anyway. There is no perfect prayer that needs to be repeated over every situation, but our expression of faith and trust in God is what is required for every situation.
