Jesus’ power and authority over every earthly thing was a “game-changer” for people looking for Messiah. He fulfilled all the prophesies and proclaimed the Good News everywhere He went. He even gave the same power and authority from God to those who were His disciples. I was surprised that John, Jesus’ cousin, had to ask! He was there when Jesus was baptized and he had been the one proclaiming Jesus’ worth before He ever began His earthly ministry.
