The immense difficulty in balancing Simcha with Emunah as they are two exact opposites - Simcha is being happy something concrete and tangible while emunah generates yearning, desire and davening for levels that are still beyond a person, and how these two correspond to the sun and the moon, which is why a person must be by a tzaddik for Rosh Hashanah when the two join etc.
