The concept of Keter, described as the mind’s faculty for settling, organizing, and absorbing spiritual light in a healthy and structured way. Keter serves as a protective boundary, allowing comprehension without overwhelming the intellect. When this balance is not respected—especially by individuals with ADHD or those pushing themselves too far spiritually—confusion, burnout, or even personal harm can result. True spiritual growth requires a foundation in emuna, self-awareness, and preparation. Drawing on the example of Mount Sinai, where Moshe Rabbeinu warned the people to maintain physical and mental distance, the importance of humility and personal boundaries was emphasized. Powerful spiritual moments should be approached with caution, allowing for integration rather than shock. Learning must be balanced with prayer and honesty, ensuring that progress strengthens faith rather than ego.
